Cocoa Tea says STAY IN SCHOOL
Cocoa Tea is hard at work in the studio on his new single “Stay In School”. This one is for all the youths, reminding them to work hard and focus on school when they are young, allowing nothing to distract them from their studies.
100% of proceeds from this song will be going to a scholarship fund in Jamaica. Cocoa Tea is currently meeting with the Minister of Education to work out the details.
This one comes in like a dream team for reggae music lovers!
Cocoa Tea voiced the song last week at Digital B studios, on a classic Studio One riddim, built by Kirk “Kirkledove” Bennet.
Next, he went over to Penthouse to link Dean Fraser to add some backing vocals and his trademark saxophone magic.
Last we checked in, Steven Stanley was mixing the song over at Tuff Gong for over 8 hours! Serious production values!
Here are some photos of Cocoa Tea alongside Steven Stanley, mixing the song at Tuff Gong Studio.
